Description & Usage

Advantage Multi is a multi-benefit topical solution used to treat a broad range of parasites. A monthly application is effective in preventing heartworm disease and also works to kill adult fleas and intestinal parasites (roundworms, hookworms and whipworms). Advantage Multi is used to treat itchy skin mite (Sarcoptes).

Precautions & Side Effects

Contact your veterinarian if your cat experiences redness, scabbing, scratching, wounds and local inflammation where the treatment was dispensed. Do not use orally. Your cat may experience vomiting, tremors, lethargy hypersalivation or low apetite if the treatment was ingested or through licking of the administration site.

Active ingredients: 80 mg Imidacloprid (10%), 8 mg Moxidectin (1%)

Advantage Multi for Cats is administered topically once a month (1 tube). Select the correct dosage based on your cat's weight (5.1 to 9 lbs or 9.1 to 18 lbs). Use the appropriate combination of tubes for cats over 18 lbs. Do not apply on irritated skin. Remove the applicator tube from the package. Take off the cap from the tube, turn it over and use the tip to break the seal of the tube. Part your cat's hair at the base of the neck and apply the entirety of the tube directly onto the exposed skin. Do not allow the cat to lick or groom the administration site for 30 minutes after application.

Store between 39° - 77°F away from excessive light and moisture. Keep away from children and pets.

How often should I use Advantage Multi for Cats?

Administer one dose (tube) monthly (every 30 days), year-round for optimum protection against fleas, ear-mites, and parasites such as hookworms, roundworms and heartworm disease.

Where should I apply Advantage Multi?

Apply the full dose (tube) onto the exposed skin at the base of your cat's neck to avoid licking and grooming of the area after application.

Does Advantage Multi for Cats protect against ticks?

No. Advantage Multi for Cats protects against fleas, ear-mites, roundworms, hookworms and heartworms. You can use a separate tick preventative to protect your cat against tick infestations.
